Our close friends were having a baby but wanted to keep the gender a surprise. Finding a nice design to be gender neutral can often be difficult but I wante this rainbow one to be a colorful addition to their nursery.
Coral Delight →
Another quilt creation for our friends who are expecting a baby girl very soon. The soon-to-be parents had only one request, no pink fabric but coral would be excellent.
Chevron Quilt →
This was a fun quilt for me to sew together for my sister's new baby. I really love how the pattern came together as I quilted it. Choosing the right colors for this project was a challenge but in the end, I'd still choose the same fabrics. I will definitely be making more chevron quilts.
Chowderfest! →
What a blast it is to create a clean and simple invitation for a surprise bridal shower. The theme was delicious, a true New England Chowderfest. For this event, I was asked to create two invitations, a decoy, incase the bride-to-be happened to visit a participating guest and see the invitation, has well has the real invitation. I'm happy to say the bride-to-be was very surprised the party turned out to be all for her. Congrats!
Wedding Invitation →
There's nothing better than designing a beautiful and elegant wedding invitation. For this particular design I was excited to sketch out the bride and groom's splendid theme, a lighthouse. It seemed right to choose ivory card stock since it gave the invitations the look of old paper. To finish off the elegance of the invitations, a simple piece of vellum and a thin black ribbon were attached before sending them off to guests.
